Our accommodation complex of 3 apartments and 2 beautiful stone cottages is located at the entrance to Vela Luka. It is situated in the very peaceful area of town, only 5 minutes away from the port and the center. Besides this complex we have a small family villa in the bay of Gradina, 5km away.
Vela Luka offers all you need for a family vacation, many nice beaches and beautiful locations for day trips. We would like to point our the splendid beach at the island Proizd reachable by taxi boats from the port. It is a town very well known for music, mostly thanking to the most famous Croatian singer, Oliver, many choirs and cultural and artist societies. Among the new-old installations there is the world's longest mosaic, tiled on the local promenade.
One specific cave above town witnesses the continuous living in this area for 25.000 years. This is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Mediterranean and it is called the Big Cave which is worth a visit.
Entire island has many picturesque villages, fields, bays and beaches, with a pearl of the Mediterranean at the east end of the island - town of Korčula, 45 km away. While every village tells its story of a very difficult living by vineyards and olive groves, nets and fishing boats, some of the most important stories of the thousand year old history of the town and the island can be found in many museums and historical locations in the Old Town.
Make sure you offer a feast to your taste buds by giving it a fine gastro experience. Vela Luka and the entire island is very well known for its olive oil and wines. In our units you can enjoy them by ordering something from our Menu, at each of the units, prepared by our mother, the cook.
