Villa Lidija

Mr Duncan M. (Scotland)

"It was a lovely place to spend a holiday. The villa was clean and comfortable and the terrace/ balcony were spacious, with plenty of room to sit and eat or read whilst enjoying a spectacular view of the Adriatic. The Villa was privately positioned on a picturesque hillside of olive and fig trees, less than 5 km from the town (so probably best to hire a car) where there were plenty of good restaurants or a choice of supermarkets, local bakeries etc if you were cooking at home. The owner Davor, was a huge bonus to our stay. He helped us organise a great fishing trip (we bbqd the catch for dinner) and pointed us in the direction of the local dive school (wonderful day diving or snorkelling). He was a ready source of local knowledge. One unexpected benefit of a stay at the Villa was the home cooking service. A small menu of locally sourced and cooked meals was available at a very reasonable price including delivery to the door. We used this service twice and enjoyed some very tasty fish, rice, pasta and vegetable dishes. We booked the holiday at short notice and it was delightful. If you go, look forward to the crystal clear sea and bring home a bottle or two of the delicious local olive oil. "

Miss Francesca (Italy)

"Korcula is an island realy magical, where peace and silence reign. The house is surrounded by green olive trees that are thrown in the deep blue sea. People are kind, including Mr. Davor, who has looked after in the best possible way. For anyone wishing to spend a holiday in nature, out of chaos, in complete relaxation in a splendid villa, admiring the crystal clear sea."

Mr Oliver L. (United Kindgom)

"I cannot rate the property highly enough. From the moment of our arrival we were bowled over by the location, the view, the nature, the quiet, and the property itself. I almost would rather keep this little secret to ourselves! But I can't, so I would say we thoroughly recommend this villa, and thank Davor for his attention and care. 6/5 !"

Jacques M. (Switzerland)

"Perfect situation in a private, safe and quite environment. Private transportation indispensable. The owner couldn't have been more helpful. We came by car, very convenient. Took the ferry from Ancona (I) to Split overnight, and second ferry from Split to Vela Luka in the morning, at 1PM we were already in the swimming pool, very relaxed itinerary. Early September 08 was just a perfect period, warm (35), sunny and dry. "

Mr. Peter W. (United Kingdom)

"Perfect location for a quite, relaxing holiday with plenty of help with the owners to get your holiday off to a great start. Private transport is essential as accommodation is a 10 minute drive from the nearest town. While we rented a scooter for a week (very cheaply) it may be worthwhile hiring a car instead so as to be able to travel to the spectacular town of Dubrovnick on the mainland."
